    Description

Offered is a beautiful representation of an antique ship's telegraph - an instrument used years ago allowing the ship's Captain to communicate with the engine room for speed and direction.  This particular reproduction is very good.  It includes the warm polished walnut base and patinated brass housing, stand and hand.  Being a reproduction, the two hands are literally one; they do not move independently.  In addition there are no sound effects when the hands move (no bells).  On final note, the face of this telegraph has been professionally repair.  The main photo shows the hand over the repair.  The sixth photo shows the area of repair including the two "NN"s in CONN.  As you can see the repair was very well done and hard to appreciate if you don't know it's there.  The lamp is 31" tall from base to finial.  Shipping can be reduced if you provide your own shade.  All sales are final; no international sales.
